Homecoming

So my brother is a junior in high school and his homecoming is tonight. He is so funny. Originally he had said that he didn't want to go, but I suppose, from serious prodding from his friends, he decided that he wanted to go. I remember going to homecoming but it was never a big deal for me. He is much more social at school than I was at his age, I digress. Any way he looked so nice, but he was concerned because of fractured his ankle last Friday and is in a cast, he thinks that his cast and shoe looks stupid with his dress clothes, but he looked really nice when he left. No one will even notice that he has the cast. I love my little brother and I can't believe that he has grown so much. So this post is dedicated to him. My bugger, that I love almost more than life itself.

Emeralds & Pearls

When I was a small child I loved pearls. I thought they were the classiest piece of jewelry a woman could possibly wear, and emeralds are my birthstone. I happen to be quite partial to that cut of precious stone anyway, but I digress. I guess I am writing this because I feel inspired to share with the world my love of life and all the things that come with it. I hope you enjoy my blog and be blessed
